Reed Goodman

Chief Turkey

Reed Goodman is a South Texas native with two kids and a beautiful wife. He is the sixth generation to live on their ranch in DeWitt County, Texas, in the heart of oil and cattle country.

Reed started his career in gas compression, then moved to artificial lift and completion tools. He owned a completion tool and artificial lift company from 2020 to 2024 before selling his IP to Peak Completions and focusing solely on the production company he started in 2019.

In addition to his experience in the Permian, Bakken and Eagle Ford unconventional plays, Reed brings extensive conventional production experience across the state of Texas. He owns and operates a handful of conventional wells in South Texas. Reed is a student of geology, with an explorer's mindset and a wildcatter's heart.

John Casiano

Geologist

John Casiano is an exploration geologist with more than 15 years of experience evaluating and developing petroleum systems across major U.S. basins, including the Williston, Permian, Powder River, Gulf Coast, Illinois and Mid-Continent.

His experience spans exploration, unconventional resource plays, drilling operations, prospect evaluation, and the integration of geology, petrophysics and subsurface data to find what others overlooked. He spent 12 years with a small E&P in operational and exploration roles before expanding his work as an independent consultant.

John is particularly drawn to mature, underexplored and data-limited basins where creative geologic thinking pays off. He serves as President of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), bringing a broad industry perspective and an extensive professional network to his exploration work.
